Big Mouth is an American adult animated coming-of-historic period sitcom created by Andrew Goldberg, Nick Kroll, Marker Levin, and Jennifer Flackett for Netflix. The series centers on teens based on Kroll and Goldberg's upbringing in suburban New York, with Kroll voicing his fictional younger self. Big Mouth explores puberty while "embrac[ing] a frankness about the human trunk and sex."[2]
The first season, consisting of ten episodes, premiered on Netflix on September 29, 2017, and the 2d season was released on October 5, 2018. The third season was preceded by a Valentine's Day special episode on February viii, 2019, and the balance of the 3rd season was released on October 4, 2019. In July 2019, Netflix renewed the serial through to a sixth season. The fourth season was released on December 4, 2020, and the fifth season was released on November v, 2021.
Upon its release, the series received critical acclaim. with praise going to the writing, blitheness, voice acting, musical numbers, humor, and emboldening messages of credence.
A spin-off series titled Human Resource debuted on March 18, 2022.

The serial follows a group of teenage 7th graders, including best friends Nick Birch and Andrew Glouberman, equally they navigate their style through puberty with struggles similar masturbation and sexual arousal all in the Westchester County suburbs of New York. Spin-off [edit]
On October 3, 2019, Netflix announced a straight-to-series social club for a spin-off series titled Human Resource , set within the show'southward universe. Kroll, Goldberg, Levin, Flackett and Kelly Galuska will produce.[50] On June 14, 2021, more details of the series were announced, including casting. Kroll, Rudolph, Thewlis, Smart, Cannavale, Newton, Bamford, Goodman, Palmer, Cloudless and Adlon volition reprise their roles for the spin-off, with additional bandage members Aidy Bryant, Randall Park, Rosie Perez, and Henry Winkler joining the series.[51] [52] [53] It was released on March 18, 2022.[54]
